Building their way to nationals

EPHRATA — The Parkway Elementary Lego Robotics team, Parkway Pizzazz, will head to nationals this week in New Jersey. For several of the students, this is their first time flying and for others, their first time on the East Coast. The team placed at state with its presentation on “Space Germs.” Students researched and worked with scientists to establish a plan to save the coral reefs, which includes working at the International Space Station. The Columbia Basin Herald will have a story on the team in Thursday's edition.
