Ephrata PD
April 24
Report of a traffic stop 200 block of Nat Washington Way Southeast. Vehicle was stopped for speeding. Driver returned with a third-degree driving with license suspended. Driver cited for speeding. Driver informed a report would be sent to prosecutors office for DWLS.
Report of domestic in the 300 block E Street Northeast. Male suspect detained and probable cause established for fourth-degree assault – domestic violence. Male suspect arrested and booked without incident.
April 26
Report of domestic on Third Avenue Northeast. Both parties said the other one broke several items within the home.
Report of cold theft on Nat Washington Way. Suspect attempted a cart push-out and was confronted by asset protection. Merchandise recovered and suspect left the scene.
April 27
Report of physical assault on 7th Avenue Southwest. Police established probable cause for fourth-degree assault – domestic violence. Suspect taken into custody without incident.
April 28
Report of EPD assisting Grant County Sheriff’s Office with DUI.
Report of single vehicle, self-causing collision on Airport Street. Vehicle one and was driving and took a curve as driver side tire blew out and he lost control. Driver one crossed east bound land of travel and hit the ditch band. Car towed from the scene.
Report of two-vehicle collision in parking lot of Ephrata Middle School. Reporting party said she was backing out of stall and vehicle collided with her.
Report of cold theft on Nat Washington Way. Reporting party said suspect left the store with around $100 worth of merchandise. Reporting party said suspect gave back some of merchandise but not all.
Report of package stolen off porch on A Street Southeast.
Report of trespassing in the 300 block of D Street Southwest. Reporting party said male suspect was on property, he had a black sheet or shirt over his head and was “acting like a ghost.” Area searched and suspect was gone on police arrival. Reporting party said no destruction happened, he just was not supposed to be on property.
April 29
Report of cold theft and fraud in the 200 block of Eighth Avenue Northwest.
Report of overdose in the 400 block of Seventh Avenue Southeast. Reporting party said female suspect was unresponsive inside the residence. EPD arrived prior to EMS. Moses Lake PD contacted via phone for translation services. EMS transported subject to hospital.
April 30
Report of package theft on A Street Southeast. Package had around $45 worth of merchandise in it.
Report of a two vehicle car crash on Alder Street Southwest. Vehicle one hit vehicle two’s rear end.
Report of a hit and run on Road A Northwest of Highway 282. EPD arrived and held suspect until Grant County Sheriff’s Office arrived.

Report of a woman chasing daughter down the street.
Report of subject trespassing at property where owner has passed away. Reporting party said no one should be at the property.
Report of vehicle theft in Beverly.
Report of credit card fraud of $977.
Report of male walking around with axe, under the influence of something. Subject is reporting party’s neighbor.
Report of erratic driver on State Route 28 near round-a-bout.
April 26
Report of stolen snap-on tools and guns in safe gone.
Report of DUI.
Report of suspicious behaviour of driver impersonating an officer in personal vehicle. Vehicle left the incident location.
Report of cows close to roadway on State Route 17. Around 30-80 cows. Cows were not in roadway at time of call.
April 27
Report of loose black angus cows near reporting party’s home. Caller said the cows were running down a road and up a hill.
Report of male subject throwing a rock at the reporting party’s vehicle and broke the windshield.
Report of cold theft.
Report of someone selling crystal meth in an apartment complex.
April 29
Report of three dogs attacking reporting party’s llama. Dogs took off.
Report of third party report of physical domestic violence.
Report of two horses running at large. The horses were heading westbound on Dune Lake Loop.
April 30
Report of $500 and cell phone stolen last week.
Report of theft of farm gps equipment.
Report of assault and partner taking reporting party’s money.
Report of mailbox hit by neighbor last night. Mailbox ripped out of ground.
Report of theft of propane tank, sprinklers, tools and a regulator off of a bow.
Report of found fiberglass dual hull fishing boat floating around 60 to 100 yards off the shore.
Report of neighbor selling crystal meth at apartment complex. She said she smells weed too.
Report of blue druck hit and running the reporting party’s fence.

April 26
Report of physical assault on West Peninsula Drive. No physical evidence to support claim of assault.
Report of male taken into custody on warrant on North Mattson Drive.
Report of verbal dispute between brothers. Nothing physical occurred.
Report of unknown suspect stealing two buzz balls from store and leaving on foot.
Report of barking lab at South Grand Drive. Upon arrival there was a large yellow lab standing on top of camp trailer in the back yard barking. Dog’s name is Bert and he was brought inside.
Report of suspect violating protection order twice. Probable cause for threats to kill, protection order violation and stalking. Suspect location unknown.
Report of four vehicles receiving 10-day tow removal on Northwest Sunburst Court.
Report of fake Facebook account created under reporting party’s name—investigation to be forwarded to major crimes detectives.
Report of moving truck being broken into on State Route 17 North and Interstate 90 East. Reporting party said clothes, TV, PlayStation, games and safe were stolen.
Report of reporting party saying she had firearm in her purse, got into a fight and lost her purse. Reporting party’s purse was returned to her home but not the firearm. Stolen firearm form filled out and sent to MACC dispatch. Reporting party called back on April 27 to say she found the firearm and she does not want to press charges on altercation.
Report of male suspect selecting around $750 of electronics and walking out of store on North Stratford Road. Vehicle located by Ephrata PD. The vehicle owner said he did not know the suspect. If the suspect is identified, report to follow. Photos of stolen goods cataloged.
April 27
Report of traffic stop conducted for speeding. Driver was driving with suspended license. Driver cited for second-degree driving with license suspended.
Report of two-vehicle collision on South Juniper Drive and East Alderwood Drive. Vehicle one did not yield to oncoming traffic and was t-boned by vehicle two.
Report of male exposing himself in car. Male contacted with saggy shorts that were hanging down low enough to expose his buttocks. Male told to pull up pants to avoid inadvertently exposing himself to citizens.
Report of male tagging city property at McCosh Park. Suspect contacted with report to follow.
Report of suspect stealing goods from business on North Stratford Road. Suspect was contacted and transported to Grant County Jail for second-degree burglary and third-degree theft.
Report of debit card stolen at business on Nat Stratford Road. Card used at two businesses on Nat Stratford Road. The reporting party said that she had contacted bank and cancelled card. Loss prevention at one business said they had no information. Other business said they would go through security footage. The victim wants to pursue charges is suspect is identified.
April 28
Report of vehicle struck parked vehicle and flipped the car onto it’s top in the middle of the roadway. Driver was sole occupant of vehicle and determined to be DUI. Driver taken in for treatment and injuries from collision. Driver provided blood for DUI process.
Report of suspect DUI and confronting a family member with a firearm on West Wapato Drive. Suspect located driving and was arrested. Vehicle impounded for search warrant.
Report of reporting party’s ex-partner pointing a firearm at her. Report to follow.
Report of a two-vehicle, traffic-blocking, minor injury collision on North Stratford Road and West Knolls Vista Drive. Vehicle one attempted to cross lanes into the lane of travel in front of vehicle two. Vehicle two was unable to slow down when vehicle one drove into lane of travel. Witness and involved party’s statements info obtained. Photos collected.

April 29
Report of graffiti on fence on West Lakeside Drive. Gang graffiti located and photos taken.
Report of student in possession of drugs at Moses Lake High School. Student disciplined by school administration and sent home with parents.
Report of unknown male stealing hose from business on East Broadway Avenue. Reporting party to provide video and wants to pursue charges if suspect is identified.
Report of attempted stop on vehicle for reckless driving and suspicion of DUI on South Alder Street. Pursuit terminated at South Clover Driver. Vehicle failed to yield and eluded police. Grant County Sheriff’s Office and Washington State Patrol located vehicle on Interstate 90 and initiated pursuit. Suspect taken into custody in Kittitas County.
Report of male suspect stealing around $200 worth of merchandise from business on North Stratford Road. If identified the reporting party would like to pursue charges.
Report of storage units broken into on Turnkey Road Northeast. Officers found evidence of how subjects entered fenced area. Locks were found cut or damaged on 12 units. The subjects entered a RV and removed items. The owner will notify the unit renters and determined what was taken from their storage units. Charges to be filed if subjects are identified.
April 30
Report of subjects in parking lot of business on South Balsam Street. The subject had been previously trespassed and told to not come back. The manager said he wanted to press chargers. The suspect was booked into Grant County Jail for second-degree trespassing.
Student at Moses Lake High School was consuming alcoholic beverage in water bottle. Suspect also shared drink with other students. Suspect was not cooperative with staff. Suspect was admin booked and taken to MLPD.
Report of boyfriend of reporting party assaulting her and stealing her phone and $40 cash. Boyfriend left prior to police arrival. He was later found and booked into Grant County Jail for fourth-degree assault – domestic violence and third-degree theft – domestic violence.
Report of suspicious subject behind building on South Pilgrim Street. Reporting party saw subject arrive with two buckets full of merchandise in a shopping cart. The subject took the buckets and left the area. Items were confirmed stolen from nearby business. Suspect identified from surveillance video. Suspect contacted without merchandise and admitted to theft.
Report of male coming into store on North Stratford Road, selecting items and placing them in a suitcase he did not pay for. The male left the store without paying for any of the items. The amount of merchandise taken amounted to second-degree theft.
Report of overdose on South Melva Lane. The reporting party said he used two Narcan before he called police. The subject was transported to hospital by Moses Lake Fire Department.
May 1
Report of fire started by homeless people near business on South Pioneer Way. Moses Lake Fire Department requested police.
Report of traffic stop for vehicle without front or rear license plate. Drivers check showed driver was third-degree driving with license suspended. Driver issued a No Valid Operator License infraction. Driver was warned for failure to transfer title, no insurance, registration and display of plates.
Report of subject trespassing at business on North Stratford Road. Reporting party wanted subject trespassed. Officers contacted subject and told her she was trespassed.
