Four 'Cats Named All-GNAC

PORTLAND, Ore. — Four Central Washington University Softball student-athletes were honored by the Great Northwest Athletic Conference for their hard work and dedication on the field in the 2025 season the conference announced Tuesday afternoon. All four Wildcats earned their first All-GNAC honors in their careers.

Senior outfielder Karsyn Decker and junior infielder Mia Flores were both tabbed to the All-GNAC Second Team. Decker made the most of her final season leading the 'Cats in hitting with a .341 batting average and stolen bases going a perfect 13-13 on the season. On top of leading the crimson and black in batting average, she posted career-highs with 132 at-bats, 28 runs accounted for, 45 hits, three doubles, 12 RBI, .409 slugging percentage, a .374 on-base percentage, a .989 fielding percentage as the starting left fielder, and bombed away her first two collegiate homeruns this season. On top of her hitting she had a career-low 11 strikeouts

Flores joined the Wildcats from Trinidad State this season and made the most of her crimson and black debut. She finished the 2025 season hitting a .289 batting average, a .494 slugging percentage, and a .347 on-base percentage. Starting 27 games for the 'Cats this season she accounted for 14 runs, with 24 hits, two doubles, and drew seven walks while going 1-1 on stolen bases. She led CWU with 18 RBI and tied for the most home runs this season with five. She finished the season with a .957 fielding percentage as the main starting first baseman for the 'Cats.

Rounding out the Wildcats earning All-GNAC honors are freshmen infielders Gabi Casco and Jessica Reitz-Eaton who both earned Honorable Mention All-GNAC. Casco came into her own as the season progressed starting 23 games at second base for CWU. She finished the season with a .322 batting average, and CWU-bests .593 slugging percentage and .468 on-base percentage. Casco accounted for 10 runs to pair with 19 hits, one double, 16 RBI, 15 drawn walks, and tied for a team best five homers.

Reitz-Eaton also had an outstanding collegiate debut as the main starting shortstop, starting 37 games. She finished the season with a .270 batting average, a .344 slugging percentage, and a .355 on-base percentage. She accounted for 21 runs, 33 hits, three doubles, two homers, 11 RBI, and four stolen bases. She led the crimson and black by drawing 16 walks. She finished the season with a .923 fielding percentage.
