CWU Crimson and Black game this Saturday
Wildcats will hit the field for a spring football game Saturday in an annual tradition. Admission to the game in Ellensburg is free.

ELLENSBURG — Central Washington University Football will host its 2025 Crimson and Black Spring Game this Saturday, May 3, at noon on Steve Hertling Field at Tomlinson Stadium. Admission is free.
The game will feature four 15-minute running-clock quarters, with no live stream or official stats recorded.
The event precedes the 2025 CWU Athletics Hall of Fame Gala, honoring inductees Jason Patterson, John Picha, Carianne Davis Ferencik, and Mary Lindquist Herche – all of whom will be recognized during the game.
Jeff O'Donnell and Jason Patterson will serve as Honorary Head Coaches for the Crimson and Black Teams, respectively, each calling the first series of both halves.
Fans are invited to support the Wildcats as they begin preparations for a third consecutive NCAA Division II Championship Tournament run.
