The reports below were provided by the sheriff's office or police department indicated. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Ephrata PD
March 6
Report of verbal disturbance at 15 D Street Northeast. Reporting party said the suspect was yelling and refusing to go back into her apartment. Suspect was pounding on neighbors’ doors and walked into victim’s residence without permission. Suspect arrested and booked for disorderly conduct and first-degree criminal trespassing.
March 7
Report of traffic collision in 1300 block of Nat Washington Way. Reporting party said vehicle one backed into her vehicle. Collision caused reportable damage.
Report of weapons in 400 block Division Avenue East. Reporting party said juvenile walking into the business with a handgun. Juvenile contacted and determined it was a toy pistol. Juvenile was advised of a better way to transport the toy to his friend’s house.
Report of Ephrata PD assisting with a bicycle v. vehicle collision on State Route 28 at Franklin Street. Assisted until Washington State Patrol arrived.
March 8
Report of a traffic collision at the intersection of Ivy Street Northeast and 7th Avenue Northeast. Driver one was eastbound on 7th Avenue Northeast. Driver one failed to yield to driver two causing a reportable collision.
Report of shots fired in area of C Street Southwest and Fifth Avenue Southwest. Reporting party said juvenile subject shooting a BB gun at birds. Attempted contact.
Report of domestic in 200 block of Maringo Road. Suspect assaulted sister and fled in vehicle. Suspect located and taken into custody for assault and DUI.
March 9
Report of trespassing in 300 block of Sixth Avenue Southeast. Two young male suspects came onto reporting party’s property. Reporting party did not recognize them. One of the male suspects came onto the property and ran away. Reporting party said this was odd behavior. Contacted the male suspects and they said they were selling tamales and nothing more. Police told them to wrap it up for the day and go home.
Report of damage in the 2200 block of Basin Street. Reporting party requesting phone call after male suspect changed the lock on a residence without permission. Police called the reporting party back three times with no response.
March 10
Report of suspect being trespassed after yelling and causing issues.
Report of silver Hyundai driving recklessly in the gravel. Reporting party said the vehicle was close to hitting theirs.
Report of Moses Lake PD bringing suspect back to Ephrata after the suspect was told to leave the warming center. Suspect has difficulty walking and warming center said she couldn’t stay because she could not get to out of unit. Reporting party said the suspect was shouting and asked to move along.

March 7
Report of unsheltered woman on drugs at business on Wanapum Drive. Suspect left.
Report of student at Chief Moses Middle School with smoking device. Student was disciplined by school admin per school policy.
Report of semi-truck hitting another semi-truck in the parking lot on North Frontage Road East.
Report of dog jumping the fence into the neighbor’s yard on Parkway Drive Northeast. Dog attacked the neighbor’s dog and the victim. Dog ripped the victim's pants and left scratch marks. Dog taken to shelter on bite hold.
Report of vehicle collision in parking lot on South Pioneer Way. Two subjects exchanged information without police.
Report of student disciplined by school administration for mentioning having a weapon at school. No weapon located.
Report of someone breaking into the reporting party’s storage unit on Road L Northeast. The reporting party said most of her items were taken including television and other miscellaneous items. Unknown value of stolen goods.
Report of three students assaulting two female students at Frontier Middle School. All students who were aggressors were disciplined per school policy by school administration. The two victim students were taken to Samaritan urgent care for further medical evaluation. The parents requested to pursue criminal charges.
Reporting party said there was a group of young males in a blue Mazda on South Alder Street. One of the subjects displayed a gun at the reporting party’s husband. Area checked, gone upon police arrival.
Three vehicles broken into in the parking lot on North Paxson Drive. Two victims reported their purses containing wallets missing. One vehicle had its window broken out to gain entry while the other was left unlocked. Related to several other incidents occurring around the same time frame.
Report of vehicle’s window broken and two purses stolen from reporting party and mother-in-law on South Gibby Road. Roughly $360 lost from the two purses. One was a small Harry Potter backpack. The other was a small purse with a large strap. Credit cards cancelled. Reporting party’s son’s emergency medication also stolen.
Report of two-vehicle blocking collision. Vehicle one was stopped at the Moses Lake Avenue stop sign indicating a turn left on E Nelson Road. Vehicle two was driving eastbound on East Nelson Road. Vehicle one proceeded to turn left colliding with vehicle two. The force of collision sent vehicle two into a nearby pedestrian and ultimately collided with fence.
Report of theft on South Gibby Road. Reporting party said she left her car unlocked. Keys to vehicle and white coach wallet with reporting party’s credit cards and ID stolen.
Report of vehicle window broken out on North Westshore Drive and reporting party’s purse stolen. Reporting party witnessed the suspect vehicle described as dark gray/metallic blue Infiniti, consistent with other vehicle prowls earlier in the day.
Report of suspect stealing around 15 items in men's clothing from business on North Stratford Road. Total value estimated at around $500. Suspect left prior to police arrival. Reporting party requested suspect to be charged and trespassed permanently when contacted next.
Report of male and female in white truck stealing packages off reporting party’s porch on West Wood Court. Packages contained food and file cabinet.
March 8
Report of trespassing. Reporting party’s husband said suspects shined a flashlight in the window; one subject wearing black face paint and another with white face paint. Officers checked area and gone on police arrival.
Report of suspect driving with no headlights. Suspect found to be DUI. Suspect cited for DUI, no valid operating license and no headlights. Suspect taken to Grant County Jail.
Report of male causing disturbance at business on North Stratford Road. Male was attempting to fight other patrons. Security requested to trespass male for the night. Male advised of trespass and left without incident.
Report of an individual breaking into and sleeping in the shed on the property on South Wanapum Drive. Police responded and did not locate any individuals inside the shed. Police did not observe any signs of forced entry.
Report of a phone call from an unknown number to a hair salon. Reporting party said the male said his name was Jose and he was upset over his haircut, and he wanted a $60 refund. Reporting party said they do not charge $60 for a haircut and asked if it was a scam. Reporting party said Jose made threats saying he is part of a gang and will send people to shoot up the salon. Reporting party said Jose sent a photo of an AR-15 style rifle in context to the threats.
Report of traffic collision near North Stratford Road and West Mart Road. Vehicle one was turning into a business. Vehicle one made turn without yielding to vehicle two. The vehicles did not need to be towed from the scene.
Report of an unknown male taking hamburgers and buns from store without paying at business on South Pioneer Way.
Report of domestic disturbance at West Third Avenue. Reporting party said his ex-girlfriend's father had beaten him up and left the area. Reporting party went to Samaritan Hospital for further evaluation. Report to follow.
Report of vehicle prowl on South Moses Lake Avenue. Reporting party said the car was prowled overnight and that she had two wallets in her car that went missing. In the wallets were her ID, credit and debit cards.
Report of theft in progress on North Stratford Road. Police contacted three suspects on scene. One suspect was arrested for third-degree theft. Second suspect arrested for third-degree theft and unlawful possession of a firearm.
March 9
Report of theft. Reporting party said they watched male suspect stealing alcohol in the morning and was asked to leave at business on North Stratford Road. The male suspect did not leave. The incident was not reported. The reporting party observed the male suspect looking into vehicles. The male was then contacted. The male said he was looking for change. The male was trespassed and asked to leave. The male said he would not sign trespass form. Male was permanently trespassed from business.
Report of several subject breaking into mailboxes on Parkway Drive Northeast. Police arrived on scene and saw the lock to a mailbox damaged beyond repair. The owner of mailbox contacted. She said mail carrier said she could break lock to retrieve mail. Police said a mail carrier would not say that and she should have asked for a new key. She said she will contact USPS to have lock replaced.
Report of two males on East Kittleson Road, possibly car prowling and refusing to leave parking lot. The two males left prior to police arrival.
Report of theft on North Stratford Road. Female suspect allegedly stole four bottles of whiskey. Police located the suspect. Report to follow.
Report of MLPD assisting Grant County Sheriff’s Office with a K9 for burglary suspects fleeing on foot through a field on North Frontage Road East. Suspects located and arrested.
Report of male who was previously trespassed at business on South Pioneer Way. Male was contacted and transported to Grant County Jail for warrant. Reporting party to pursue charges for trespassing.
March 10
Report of two male suspects taking battery from business’s forklift which was parked out back on North Elder Street. Estimated value $140. One suspect was identified.
Report of two unknown suspects cut the fence on the south of the property on North Owen Road. Allegedly they took two vehicles from the property. Vehicle one was later located on Kittleson Road. Vehicle two was signed stolen and is a 2011 F-750 utility style service truck valued at $80,000.
Report of assault at bus station. Reporting party said his girlfriend assaulted him Saturday night.
Report of theft on North Stratford Road. Suspect in custody. Police determined suspect had been trespassed in past. Reporting party to pursue charges.
Report of vehicle failing to yield. Detective advised potential DUI. Upon arrival driver was found to be impaired. Driver arrested and processed for DUI.
Report of unknown male filling cart with unpaid items at business on North Stratford Road. Suspect left in black Toyota Corolla.
March 11
Report of guest at sleep center being asked to be removed. Male was trespassed for the night.
