Vicki Diann Jeske, 76, passed away peacefully in the early hours of Jan. 29, 2025. Vicki was born March 22, 1948, in Portland, Ore., to Emil and Eva Kociemba. She was raised with her sister Marci in Boring, Ore., and graduated from Sandy High School in 1966.

She married right out of high school and started her family with the birth of Kenneth in 1970. These early years included lots of time spent at bowling alleys across Washington and Oregon. She continued bowling and raising kids with the birth of Christopher, Nikki and finally Michelle. Her bowling endeavors spanned across four decades.

Vicki settled in Warden, Wash., where she spent the remainder of her life. She held various bookkeeping jobs and could be found in the scale house during harvest. She found Joy in taking care of others and babysat more than a dozen kiddos over the years.

Vicki’s other hobbies included counted cross-stitch, sewing, crafts, puzzles, collecting thimbles, flower gardening and following her sports teams. Throughout her life, Vicki dedicated herself to her family and was an avid supporter of all the activities her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren participated in. She made every effort to be in attendance or catch up on the stats.

Vicki is preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Eva Kociemba. She is survived by her four children, Kenneth (Dawnell) Espersen, Christopher (Cai) Espersen, Nikki Nevarez and Michelle Worthington (Jacob). She has four grandchildren Kristi and Melissa Wortham, and Aaron and Andrew Worthington, and two great-grandchildren Harvey Ray and Lila Jean. She is also survived by her sister, Marci Kociemba (Dave Chvatal).

Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her children, family, and friends.
