Othello, Ephrata, Quincy girls named to All-CWAC team
OTHELLO — Othello Huskies coach Sammy Rocha and Quincy Jackrabbits coach Mark Kondo were named Co-Coaches of the Year for girls wrestling in the Class 2A Central Washington Athletic Conference. Wrestlers from Ephrata, Quincy and Othello were named to the all-league teams.
The Huskies finished second in the Class 2A tournament in Rocha’s first year as head coach. Quincy placed 10th at Class 2A; it was Kondo’s second year heading the program.

Othello: Briselda Galvez, junior, 120 pounds; Angela Monday, junior, 140 pounds; Karla Guzman, sophomore, 145 pounds.
Ephrata: Alexandra Estrada Rangel, junior, 130 pounds; Adylene Sanchez, junior, 155 pounds.
Quincy: Alondra Cordova, senior, 125 pounds.

Othello: Janissa Barrera, junior, 100 pounds; Bella Garza, senior, 105 pounds; Grayce Mendez, sophomore, 110 pounds; Grace Rocha, senior, 115 pounds; Josselyn Medina, freshman, 125 pounds; Miriam Garcia-Avila, sophomore, 140 pounds.
Ephrata: Rayn Castillo, junior, 145 pounds; Tessa Hausken, junior, 170 pounds; Carolina Monico, junior, 235 pounds.
Quincy: Jourdan Ferguson, junior, 135 pounds.
