Weather for the week of June 30, 2025
Ducks splash along the shore of Moses Lake on the north side of the peninsula this past Tuesday. With a heat advisory in effect Monday with high temps nearing triple digits, getting a chance to splash around may sound like a good idea. Just remember the sunscreen and don't do your splashing in irrigation canals.

Monday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 97. North wind 5 to 8 mph becoming east in the afternoon. Mostly clear evening, with a low around 67. Heat advisory in effect for Monday and Tuesday per the National Weather Service.
Tuesday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 99. Partly cloudy at night, with a low around 66.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 95. Partly cloudy, with a low around 62.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 88. Mostly clear evening, with a low around 58.
Independence Day: Sunny, with a high near 88. As a reminder, fireworks are heavily restricted locally and hot weather will have fire risks very high. Residents are encouraged to exercise caution and check local regulations before lighting fireworks.
