Imagination Library saved by OSPI funding
The Imagination Library provides a free book every month to children up to their fifth birthday. Funding for the project will continue, despite budget cuts, with support from the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction.

The Imagination Library was established by singer and actress Dolly Parton in honor of her father, who never learned to read and write, according to the Dollywood Foundation.
OLYMPIA — Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library will continue to lead children to reading in Washington.
