GRANT COUNTY GC/CM SERVICES FOR Request for Qualifications: GRANT COUNTY – NEW CORONER’S OFFICE Submittal Deadline: July 10, 2025, at 3:00 PM Grant County is requesting proposals for the General Contractor/Construction Manager (GC/CM) for the above projects using the procedure permitted under Chapter 39.10 of the RCW, as amended, for public works contracting in lieu of sealed bids. The project involves the construction of a new, approximately 10,000-square-foot coroner’s office and morgue to serve Grant County. The space will include a two-bay autopsy suite, a full-body x-ray, a separate large-bore CT Scanner, a drive-through sallyport, freezers and coolers, staff space, a viewing room, and a family meeting room. Space will need to be designed and sited to allow for future flexibility. The project construction budget is approximately $4.5 million. We anticipate, with input from the selected General Contractor/Construction Manager (GC/CM), that construction will begin as soon as possible. Design phase activities include involvement of General Contractor/Construction Manager to: (1) assist in development of schedules, cost estimates, value analysis, quality and phasing the work effort well before construction can start and provide added assurance that the project will be completed on time, and (2) be involved heavily in the design stage of the project to provide services to address constructability, sub-bid contracting strategies, and cost savings alternatives. Interested firms may obtain a copy of this Request for Proposal from Andie Rutledge, Project Coordinator, by email at [email protected]. The Request for Proposal outlines the information necessary to understand this selection process and the documentation required for submitting proposals. Proposals must be received electronically no later than 3:00 p.m., Thursday, July 10, 2025. Any firm failing to submit its proposal in accordance with the procedures set forth in the Request for Proposal may be considered non-responsive. Questions, per RFQ, should be addressed to Andrea Rutledge, Turner & Townsend Heery via e-mail (Andrea.Rutledge). A virtual, non-mandatory pre-proposal conference for the project will take place on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. The project’s particulars, selection process, schedule, and contract elements will be discussed. Grant County encourages the participation of Minority Owned and Women-Owned Business Enterprises in this Request for Proposal. #06025/37069 Pub: June 12 & 19, 2025
