The reports below were provided by the sheriff's office or police department indicated. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  

Ephrata PD 

May 29 

Report of cold theft. On May 10, victim noticed her wedding ring was gone from the house after deep cleaning it. Victim has searched her house extensively multiple times and suspects someone that visited her took it. Victim is unsure who though. Victim has checked at multiple pawn and jewelry stores who encouraged her to report to EPD. 

Report of suspect laying in “triangle” on Parkway Boulevard. Upon arrival, subject was playing basketball. Confirmed subject was fine, then told subject to shoot one more shot and leave. Subject missed his shot and follow up lay-up and was told to go home. 

May 30 

Report of domestic in the 13000 block of Road A Northwest. Reporting party is third-party reporter. Both subjects got physical. Police determined female was main aggressor and transported to jail.  

Report of trespassing at business on Basin Street Northwest. Vehicle was gone by police arrival. 

Report of stray animal in 500 block of Nat Washington Way. Reporting party said husky dog was running at large. Dog owner given final warning to register the dog with city and keep the dog contained. 

Report of male suspect laying in grass with his backside exposed. 

Report of single-vehicle DUI collision. GCSO was out of the area and asked for help. Washington State Patrol to investigate.  

May 31 

Report of collision on First Avenue Southwest and D Street Southwest. Vehicle one failed to grant to right of way to vehicle two.  

Report of while EPD was at business on Nat Washington Way for theft, two juveniles subjects used the intercom to make inappropriate statements. Both trespassed for two years. 

Report of vehicle vs. pole collision, blocking with possible injury. Driver one fell asleep behind wheel on Basin Street Northwest and left roadway and collided with Grant Public Utility District Pole. Car towed from scene.  

June 1 

Report of semi-truck vs. city light pole collision. Semi-truck took wide right hand turn and struck the southeast corner light pole causing damage. Vehicle continued east bound down Division Avenue East.  

June 2 

Report of EPD dispatched to First Avenue Northwest for possible DUI. Reporting party said female subject got out of driver’s side and was staggering. Police contacted the female subject and spoke to her. She said she was not intoxicated and only had one drink.  

Report of stolen U-Haul returned to place it had been rented at.  

Report of vehicle one upset about another vehicle cutting him off. Vehicle one driver mad and ran the stop sign at Division Avenue East and D Street Northeast. Vehicle two going east and hit vehicle one. Vehicle one going to fast it hit a parked car and pushed it to the neighbors yard. Driver one arrested for reckless driving.

July 3 

Report of Travis Decker, Wenatchee suspect seen at business on Basin Street Southwest. It was not the suspect. 

Report of fourth-degree assault – domestic violence. Suspect arrested. 

July 4 

Report of collision in the 1100 block of Basin Street Southwest. Vehicle one struck front driver vehicle tire of vehicle two. 

Report of theft at 1100 block of Sunset Street Southeast. Reporting party said golf clubs worth around $1,000 were stolen out of his vehicle. No suspect at this time.  

Report of collision in the 1200 block of Thurston Street Southeast. Reporting party said someone hit their vehicle at some point last night. The vehicle that hit the reporting party’s car caused substantial damage. Reporting party to look through video camera footage.

May 29 

Report of male in all black on mini stilts brandishing a sword. He was not threatening anyone with it. 

Report of neighbor's dog is aggressive and trying to get in her yard. 

Report of drug trafficking at the end of Lakeview Boulevard.  

Report of female falling, bleeding from head and is now throwing items. 

May 30 

Report of two calves in roadway. 

Report of person in front of reporting party’s house, on side of road. 

Report of theft of beer from business in Cascade Valley.  

Report of pistol on the bushes at back of the building. No one was near the firearm with unknown owner. 

Report of two squatters on the property. 

Report of abandoned blue Honda passenger car in Moses Lake.  

Report of male subject laying in grass at Civic Center Park, pants all the way down, on their stomach and back side not covered. 

Report of reporting party’s dog killed a neighbors dog. Reporting party saying the neighbor was yelling at reporting party and making threats to kill reporting party’s dog.  

Report on road 7.8 Northeast there is a missing yellow and black four way intersection sign. Reporting party said it looks like someone hit the sign and took it with them. 

Report of suspicious vehicle parked on the ditch bank 100 yards from reporting party’s residence for the last hour. 

Report of possible DUI. 

May 31 

Report of reporting party walking down road and someone pulled a pistol on him. 

Report of vehicle fire. 

Report of someone sleeping at gas pump with drug paraphernalia in his lap.  

Report of subjects arrived and took items from location. Subject was arrested yesterday. Subject took items out of shed and tired to take car and strap broke then they took off. 

Report of reporting party renting a U-Haul and it was stolen sometime in the past 24 hours. 

Report of possible DUI vehicle getting off at exit. 

Report of two teenagers banging at reporting party’s door. 

Report of drunk man on foot screaming and yelling – intoxicated. No weapons. 

June 1 

Report of 13-year-old walking down street drinking alcohol. 

Report of one vehicle sticking pole. 

Report of suspicious vehicle parked in the field corner with bullet holes in it.  

Report of cow on the road. 

Report of theft occurring where female was stealing nails and other items. 

Report of guns around 20-30 stolen out of reporting party’s safe.  

Report of RV in the ditch, partially blocking but doesn’t look injured. 

Report of assault. 

Report of neighbors throwing sticks at trailer. 

Report of intoxicated tenant breaking reporting party’s property.

June 2 

Report of threats via screen shots of possible school violence and bullying. Email sent to school by reporting party. 

Report of around 11 cows in pasture, crying nonstop due to insufficient feeding. 

Report of male in canal yelling for help, reporting party can no longer see subject. 

Report of son stealing $1,500 out of mom’s car. 

June 3 

Report of graffiti. 

Report of theft from business in Moses Lake.  

Report of theft of livestock animals. 

Report of ten to 15 shots fired. Nothing scene. 

Report of Wahluke School District commercial burglary alarm going off.  

June 4 

Report of reporting party’s mailbox being wiped out and ended up down the street. 

Report of four males trying to fight employee. 

Report of cattle in the road on South Frontage Road. 

Moses Lake PD 

June 1 

Report of subject trespassing at business on North Stratford Road. Reporting party said he had a waiver to be there. Officers confirmed he was trespassed recently. Manager did not want to pursue charges.  

Report of suspect sleeping in aisle of business on West Westover Boulevard. Suspect found in possession of narcotic that was seized and destroyed. Suspect trespassed.  

Report of cold vehicle prowl on Grape Drive Northeast. Reporting party believes vehicle registration, painting supplies, a Milwaukee tool and other items were stolen. No forced entry into vehicle. Reporting party wishes to press charges if suspect is identified. 

Report of driver exiting his vehicle on West Nelson Road, punching the air and then dumping water on himself. Driver entered his vehicle and drove off. Officers searched area. 

Report of wife’s EBT card stolen the week prior.  

Report of physical domestic on West Marina Drive. Suspect attempted to bite police when he was placed in restaurants. Suspect booked on third-degree assault – domestic violence.  

Report of subject located on warrant. Subject arrested on his warrant and transported to Grant County Sheriff’s Office. 

Report of subject taking pill her got from online. Police responded with Moses Lake Fire Department. Fire Department transported to hospital.  

June 2 

Report of DUI on Interstate 90. Police responded to area but gone on police arrival. 

Report of Moses Lake PD dispatched to North Schooner Court for assault that involved a firearm. The suspect fired a round as the victim was attempting to leave the residence. The male was highly intoxicated and still in residence when police arrived. A warrant was applied for and granted from a judge. Tactical Response Team executed the warrant and were successful in getting the male to exit the home without incident. Male book on second-degree assault – domestic violence.  

Report of mail stolen over the weekend at South Hamilton Road. Reporting party said a package containing lifting straps was stolen and other mail. Mailboxes were open at other businesses in area.  

Report of two female students at Frontier Middle School getting into a physical altercation in the bathroom. The school admin disciplined the students per school policy. 

Report of store management on South Pioneer Way calling to report subject purchasing $450 worth of merchandise from her credit card but the transaction did not go though. The subject left without paying for the merchandise. Police contacted subject who said she had paid and the check out machines were not functioning correctly. The subject said she would head back to business and pay for items. The reporting party then called back saying the subject never returned and did not answer when called. Police called subject again with no answer. Reporting party asking for payment or charges. 

June 3 

Report of theft at business on West Broadway Avenue. Reporting party is store employee. Reporting party witnessed suspect conceal multiple items as she walked through store. Suspect passed all points of sale without paying for items. Suspect was placed into custody. Suspect was permanently trespassed from store. Suspect was booked into Grant County jail for theft with special circumstances and third-degree theft.  

Report of physical domestic on Longview Street Northeast. Suspect was transported to Samaritan Hospital for medical clearance then transported to Grant County Jail.  

Report of theft from business on North Stratford Road. Subject in custody at the lost prevention office. Subject was permanently trespassed from store.  

Report of subject caught stealing at business on North Stratford Road.  

Report of mini bike valued at $400 taken over night from front covered patio of residence on North Clark Road. The mini bike is black with a light on the front. 

Report of theft of son’s wallet. The mother advised she just wanted the wallet and contents back. Brown leather custom wallet valued at $500 pulse, $1,500 SSA card. The wallet was returned to MLPD after speaking with suspect. Wallet returned to owner.  

Report of scam around $70,000 after clicking email link and providing information.  

Report of rock thrown through vehicle rear window on West Basin Street.  

June 4 

Report of collision on City Street. 

Report of three people doing drugs on property on North Stratford Road. All three subjects trespassed permanently. 

Report of four subjects threatening employee at business on North Stratford Road. All four suspects trespassed per loss prevention request. 

Report of student arriving at campus on unknown drug or alcohol. Subject sent home with parents. 

Report of male stealing three handfuls of candy bars from business on North Stratford Road. Business wished to have subject trespassed if identified. 

Report of theft in progress at business on North Stratford Road. Suspect was cooperative and followed loss prevention to the office. Suspect was placed into custody and trespassed. Suspect, since juvenile was released to parents. 

Report of guitar and amp stolen from vehicle on West Ridge Road. Reporting party to provide serial numbers.  

Report of police contacting male on East Third Avenue who had a felony warrant. Male was booked into Grant County Jail. 

Quincy PD 

June 4 

Report of dog running at large, causing damage.  

Report of internet line falling into canal and possibly crossing the road at 13th Avenue Southwest.  

Report of blue Chevy pick-up driving in from Ephrata recklessly.
