Rosalind Grogan

| June 2, 2025 2:24 PM

Rosalind J. Grogan (Roz), 85, was born Nov. 24, 1939, in Conrad, Mont., to Mel and Lila (Whealy) Johnson. She had three younger brothers, Ron, Bill and Bob.

In 1959, she married Richard G. Kauk and divorced in 1975. They had four children, Kevin (Sheila), Karla (Dave Compton), Kirby (Kathi) and Kelsy (Keith Cofield). She has 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Roz married Sam Grogan in 1978, and they moved to Moses Lake, Wash., in January 1980. Sam worked for her dad, Mel, and brother Bill Johnson for 25 years at Soil Spray Aid. Besides Bill's Family, she "adopted" two daughters, Diane LeFave and Melody Jenson, as her Moses Lake kids.

Roz was very blessed by the many precious people the Lord brought into her life. She was an involved member of the Moses Lake Alliance Church since 1985 and joined Moses Lake Bible Church in 2022. Roz truly loved her family, pastors, friends and church family. She lived to encourage others to seek the salvation found only in Christ Jesus. She thrived on giving and getting smiles and hugs because they reminded her of God's love. If you are reading this, she is face to face with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for eternity.

Memorial Service will be held June 10, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Moses Lake Bible Church (7801 Chanute St. NE, Moses Lake, WA). Potluck reception to follow the service at the Church.
