Notice of Application and Public Hearing: July 31, 2025. Notice is hereby given that a Conditional Use Permit application was received by Grant County on June 26, 2025, from Live Nation Worldwide, Inc. (Designated Contact Person: Matt Reed, 1320 N. 16th Ave, Suite # C, Yakima, WA, 98902) was found to be technically complete on July 24, 2025. DESCRIPTION: A Conditional Use Permit (CUP) and State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) review for amending the MPR to allow the development of a campground on Parcel 05-0068-20631-3779-000, 05-0068-203, and 20-1525-004. The proposal includes approximately 150 camping tents, shower and restroom facilities, a swimming pool, a deck entertainment area, and a café and bars, to be constructed in two phases on parcel 05-0068-206. Parcel 31-3779-000 is proposed to be used for tractor-trailer and event parking, as well as dry camping. Parcel 05-0068-203, located north of Sage Cliffe Road NW and previously approved under CUP 22-0254 for a 200-space RV campground, is proposed for further development. Planned improvements include a gravel surface, individual power hookups, and outdoor shelters. Parcel 20-1525-004 is currently used for event parking, but the western portion of this parcel currently contains an unpermitted glamping area with approximately 140 camping tents, which is included in this application for formal approval. Additional amenities across the site will include potable water connections, mobile shower and restroom trailers during events, communal gathering tents with a catering kitchen, and expanded guest parking areas.  Studies Required: None. Location: The subject parcels are located along the west side of Silica Road NW and approximately 5 miles west of the City of George. Beef Northwest Feeders LLC of Grant County, WA, is seeking modification of coverage under the Washington Department of Ecology’s NPDES General Permit for Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations at the site known as Beef NW Warden located at 21668 Road 6 SE in Warden. The facility was historically covered under the CAFO Combined General Permit WA4400004 since 2006. Permit coverage was switched to CAFO State Only General Permit number WAG994687 on June 25, 2024. Beef Northwest is applying to transfer coverage back to the CAFO Combined General Permit.
