David Dale Westphalen

| July 29, 2025 3:31 PM

David Westphalen, 64, of Moses Lake, Wash., passed away peacefully at Confluence Hospital in Wenatchee, Wash., on July 24, 2025, after a long battle with heart problems.

David was born in Brewster, Wash., on March 27, 1961, and grew up and lived in Moses Lake his whole life.

David was the son of Darwin Dale (Budd) Westphalen and Jessica Louise Westphalen, who preceded him in death, and two older infant sisters Karen and Angela Westphalen. He is survived by his three sisters, Linda and Mike Kuest and their two sons, Michael and Nick, Debra Westphalen and Jeff Thompson, and Diana Westphalen and Jim Lange and their two daughters, Cassandra and Jessica. He is survived by two sons and a daughter, and 10 grandchildren: Frank and Tawny Westphalen with two sons, Skylar and Landon of Oregon; Brian and Brittany Westphalen and their five daughters, Kaylena, Addilynn, Henzley, Emberley and Raelyn of Arizona; and Rachael Ann Westphalen (Logan) and her two sons and daughter, David Dalton, Gage and Elisabeth, all of Idaho, and several cousins, and great-nieces and nephews.

David was a loved father, son, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. He always loved fishing and enjoyed riding his Harley. He was a kind, happy, friendly and caring person.

He started doing computer work after being injured in an accident on a construction job and later he opened Dave’s Computers and Repair in Moses Lake, until his health forced him to close shop. You could always count on Dave for a great deal, a smile and possibly even a hug. Dave loved his time with his grandkids, nieces and nephews, family and his friends. He will be FOREVER MISSED.
