Grant County Launches Homeless Housing Survey for Community Input Grant County – Grant County has opened a community survey seeking public input on homelessness and housing needs throughout the county. The survey is available now at https://forms.office.com/r/MtsJ2tjBuj and will remain open through August 20, 2025. This survey takes about five (5) minutes to complete. Responses are anonymous and will be used to inform the Grant County Board of Commissioners (BOCC), service providers, and the Homeless Housing Task Force as they develop the updated plan. The Grant County BOCC, in partnership with regional stakeholders and LDC, Inc., is leading the development of the Grant County Five-Year Homeless Housing Plan Update (2025-2030). As part of the public engagement process, residents are invited to take the short survey to share their perspectives and help shape the County’s strategies to reduce homelessness and improve housing stability. The five-year homeless housing plan is a requirement of the Washington State Department of Commerce, which provides guidance to counties for addressing homelessness through coordinated planning and measurable objectives. Local governments are required to include stakeholder input and public engagement throughout the planning process. Grant County’s Homeless Housing Task Force includes representatives from housing and homeless service providers, behavioral health professionals, and lived experience participants. This survey is one way the County is collecting input from the broader community to understand public priorities, perceived service gaps, and barriers to housing. Thank you for helping to create a stronger, more responsive housing system for our community. Future opportunities for public input will be announced later this year. For more information or updates on the planning process, visit https://www.grantcountywa.gov/1549/UPDATE-Five-Year-HomelessHousing-Plan, or contact us with the information above. #07088/38958 Pub: July 25, 2025
