Box A, Moses Lake, WA 98837 Facility: Moses Lake Facility 14406 Road 3 NE, Moses Lake, WA 98837 National Frozen Foods (NFF) Moses Lake has applied for renewal of its State Waste Discharge Permit (SWDP) in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 90.48 Revised Code of Washington (RCW), Chapter 173-216 Washington Administrative Code (WAC). Ecology accepted the application as complete on May 8, 2025. NFF owns and operates a vegetable processing facility in Moses Lake, Washington that discharges process wastewater by land application via center pivot irrigation to approximately 558 acres for final treatment. The renewal application proposes to expand by 40% the agricultural land base that NFF uses for irrigation of vegetable processing wastewater. The wastewater, following treatment, must meet the requirements of the Washington State Water Pollution Control Act and applicable regulations for a permit to be issued. The Department of Ecology is proposing to renew the permit and is hereby issuing public notice of its intent.
