The reports below were provided by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  

June 30 

Report of vehicle abandoned at location, hard to see when approaching. Reporting party concerned it is going to cause a problem. 

Report of stolen title for a 2015 Chevy Malibu and a stolen TV. The incident occured in WIlson Creek. There is a suspect. 

Report of SUV in the brush near the train tracks in Royal City. 

Report of finding a gun at location in Soap Lake near highway intersection. 

Report of horse near highway near George. 

Report of residential burglary.  

Report of bunch of rocks on road, looks like dump truck spilled them in front of reporting party’s driveway. 

Report of traffic violation. 

Report of radio and speakers stolen from boat. 

Report of subjects throwing beer cans out of window.  

Report of two boys fighting, one is bleeding. 

Report of break in at self storage, came in through back fence. 

July 1 

Report of someone at sleep center in units, despite being closed. 

Report of ten cows running loose near Royal City. The cattle were near the roadway. 

Report of reporting party saying she left her gun at her sisters home and she tried to get it back. Sister said she doesn’t have it anymore. Reporting party wanted to report gun as stolen.  

Report of attempted break in. Window not opening and it looks like someone tried to get in. 

Report of something falling on male and he is deceased. Unable to do CPR.  

Report of damage to windshield, possible bullet hole. 

Report of six juveniles riding motorcycles fast up and down the roadway and skidding on roadway. 

Report of vehicle causing a fire. Reporting party said vehicle came of Road H and went through the fence and hit and wire and continued towards port property. 

Report of subject setting of fireworks and left embers burning. No fire department is needed. 

Report of aerial fireworks at park that is supposed to be closed. 

July 7 

Report of dismantled truck and trailer at location. Stripped for tires and parts. Possible stolen. 

Report of complaint of commercial beehives.  

Report of garbage and a dilapidated truck and trailer. 

Report of subjects stealing stolen items at their yard sale. Reporting party says the suspect is his brother and is known to steal items. 

Report of someone trapping quail at reporting party’s home. Just found a trap with a few quail inside. 

Report of reporting party saying they had to shoot the next door neighbors dog. 

BNSF will be stopping in Wilson Creek at crossing block due to subject on top of train. 

July 8 

Report of vehicle theft. 

Report of hit and run involving two vehicles. 

Report of two abandoned vehicles.  

Report of unsheltered subject on property behind fire station.  

Report of rollover traffic accident. Non injury and non blocking. 

Report of cattle in roadway. 

Report of reporting party locked out by landlord, kept items and reporting party had found a camera in her room.  

Report of hit and run, suspect vehicle left scene. 

Report of domestic between male and female at boat launch. 

July 9 

Report of theft of two large rolls of one inch cable valued at $1500. 

Report of two cows in roadway on Road 31. Fence is down. 

Report of woman banging on reporting party’s door and asking them to call 911. Reporting party said woman said “Jimmy just pushed me out of the car and there is blood everywhere.”
