Francis 'Frank' Bodway III

Francis “Frank” Bodway III passed away at home after a short battle with cancer at the age of 82. Frank was born Aug. 27, 1942, to Francis Bodway II and Helen (Branniger) Bodway in Riverside County, Calif.  

He was raised in Petaluma, Calif., where he attended and graduated from Catholic School. He then joined the Navy and served from 1960-1963, where he took part in nuclear bomb testing.  

After the Navy, he went back to Sonoma County and married his first wife and worked for Serres Construction. They had two children, Julie Bodway and Jeff Bodway. In 1975, he married his second wife, Judy, and became stepfather to Daniel Christensen Jr. and then welcomed a daughter, Jeanne Bodaway.  

In 1993, they moved to Moses Lake, Wash., where he worked at AAA Ready Mix as a mechanic until he retired in 2009. He loved working on anything that had an engine, no matter what size it was. In 2018, he married his third wife, Teri Bodway.  

He was preceded in death by his father, his mother and second wife Judy. 

He is survived by his wife, Teri Bodway, and his children, Julie (Bodway) DeLaney , Daniel Christensen Jr., Jeff Bodway and Jeanne Bodway. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Haley Richart, Jessica Bodway and Andrew Bodway, and several great-grandchildren
