Annette Marie Fricke
Annette Marie Fricke, 67, was born Sept. 2, 1957, to Mildred and Norman Fricke in Spokane, Wash.
She grew up in Rockford and graduated from Freeman High School in 1975. From there, she went on to college, starting at Washington State University. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Pacific Lutheran University, a Master of Arts in Theology at Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio, and a Master of Arts in Psychology from Chapman University.
Annette was in the United States Coast Guard Ready Reserves 1975-1981, played in the U.S. Coast Guard Training Center Ceremonial Band, and was a Boatswain’s Mate Third Class at the time of her discharge from service in February 1981.
She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, baking, singing/choir, and serving her church in various capacities.
Annette worked many years as a mental health counselor. At the time of her death, she was a Mental Health Professional and Designated Crisis Responder for Adams County Integrated Health Care Services in Othello, Wash., and served as a Lay Eucharist Minister at St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Moses Lake, Wash.
Annette was preceded in death by her mother and father, as well as nephews James and Andrew.
She is survived by her siblings, Jim (Shirley) Fricke, Gene (Natalie) Fricke, Duane (Cathy) Fricke, Carol Evans, Kevin (Suzanne) Fricke, and Susan (Rob) Hegney; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 8, at 10 a.m. at St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Moses Lake, followed by a light lunch. Graveside services will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Rockford, Wash., 3 p.m. the same day, followed by an informal gathering at McIntosh Grange Hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Martin’s Episcopal Church for services to the community.
