MLSD in-person town hall today
MOSES LAKE — Today Moses Lake School District Superintendent Carol Lewis will host another in-person town hall to answer questions about current events, concerns or feedback in the district. The town hall will be from noon to 1 p.m. at the Learning Services Center at 1620 S. Pioneer Way.
“The key thing about all of these town halls, it is a little bit different from the community forums where those were kind of geared towards the accounting errors that plagued Moses Lake School District,” MLSD Director of Public Relations Ryan Shannon said. “These town halls are 100% unscripted, and they really give the community an opportunity to come in and ask questions about a lot of things.”
Shannon said at the last town hall they received questions about Vanguard Academy, transportation, Community Athletics and Activities, the levy and other topics.
“It's kind of a little bit all over the place as far as the questions,” Shannon said.
If you are unable to attend but have questions submit them online at bit.ly/MLSDMeeting. For those who cannot attend the in-person event, there will be two virtual options Jan. 27 at 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Jan. 29 at noon to 1 p.m. on Zoom. The Zoom links will be posted on the MLSD website.
