Marysville man dies in accident near George
GEORGE — An unidentified Marysville man was killed when the car he was driving ran off the road and rolled about 2 miles east of George on Sunday evening.
The man’s name was withheld pending notification of his family. The man was driving south on State Route 283, but when he got to the North Frontage Road-SR 283 intersection he lost control of the car, according to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol.
His car came to rest in a driveway, the memo said. The man was pronounced dead at the scene; he was not wearing a seatbelt.
The incident is still under investigation.
