NOTICE OF GENERAL ELECTION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that on Tuesday, the 11th of February 2025, a Special Election will be conducted entirely by mail. This year’s February Special Election includes ballot measures from Ephrata School District No. 165/55J, Grand Coulee Dam School District No. 301J, Moses Lake School District No. 161, Odessa School District No. 105 and Wahluke School District No. 73. Not all Grant County residents will receive a ballot for this election. The residential address on your voter registration record determines what you are eligible to vote for. Ballots for this Special Election will be mailed to all qualified voters on January 22nd, 2025. VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINES: Pursuant to RCW 29A.08.140, the registration deadlines for all precincts within the districts voting in the Special Election will be as follows: Online or by mail: Last day to register or update registration online or by mail is February 3, 2025. (Registrations must be received by the Auditor’s Office by this date). Printable voter registration forms can be found online at www.grantcountywa.gov/270/Elections. You can also register using the online portal at www.votewa.gov. In-person: Last day to register or update registration in person is February 11, 2025. You may register to vote or update your registration at the Grant County Election’s Office, 35 C St NW, Room 203, at the County Courthouse, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. On Election Day, February 11, 2025, we are open until 8:00 p.m. VOTING AID: To assist the elderly and voters with disabilities in voting their ballot, an Accessible Voting Unit is available in the Election’s Office beginning January 22, 2024. The Noxious Weed Control Board of Grant County, in accordance with RCW 17.10.090, will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., for the purpose of gathering input for the 2025 county wide noxious weed list, in accordance with the adopted 2025 state noxious weed list.
