Second suspect arrested in Adams County burglary

RITZVILLE — A second suspect has been arrested in connection with an early-morning burglary Dec. 9 north of Ritzville. 

Jhea Whitney, 38, was arrested Friday in Moses Lake, according to a post from the Adams County Sheriff’s Office. Whitney was arrested in connection with a burglary on Seidt Road. Janis Rountree, 47, Lind, was arrested at the scene and booked on suspicion of second-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools, third-degree theft and third-degree malicious mischief.  

“(Whitney) was located and apprehended with the assistance of the Moses Lake Police Department and subsequently transferred to our deputies,” the ACSO post read.
