Beverly Barbara Russell

| January 9, 2025 11:18 AM

Beverly Barbara Russell, 74, was born in Wenatchee, Wash., to Terry and Sherry Hayes. In 1968 she graduated from Bridgeport High School. After graduating from Yakima Valley College in Dental Hygiene, she spent the next 42 years working in dentistry. Before retiring she volunteered on the USS Comfort, the Mercy Ship of the United States Navy offering dental services around the world. Bev had a big heart; she was very funny and always knew how to have a good time. Bev was a strong woman who believed in God. Growing up on a wheat and cattle ranch known as Hayes Ranch in Mansfield, Wash., held many fond memories for Bev.

Bev married her husband Richard (Dick) Russell in 1993. They made their home outside Ephrata where they lived a vibrant and happy life together. She loved life in the country, adored her greenhouse, garden and her many flowers. Bev and Dick followed the Professional Bull Riding circuit and attended the PBR finals 29 years in a row, traveling all over the U.S. Retiring in 2012, Bev had more time for quilting and even starting a thriving jam business for eight years perfecting over 110 flavors. We will always remember "Bev be Jammin" at the Farmers Market.

Family meant everything to Bev, also known as Grandma Bevy. Her daughters, Mikki and Sydney, and her son, Kyle, each had a special bond with their mom. Bev leaves behind her husband, Dick, and her stepson, Robert; her grandchildren Clay, Sevryn, Cole, McKell and Kyla; and her sisters, Theresa, Pat, Sandie and Jacque, and her brother, Sean, along with many nieces and nephews. Bev will be truly missed by many. We love you, Mom.
