Othello PD to hold recruitment event
The Othello Police Department will hold a recruitment event this coming Tuesday and Wednesday at the police department.

OTHELLO — People interested in a law enforcement career are being invited to a two-day recruitment event from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the Othello Police Department, 500 E. Main St. Participants will meet in the OPD conference room.
People are asked to register by emailing emiron@othellowa.gov.
Participants will learn about the OPD on Tuesday, along with a discussion of benefits and details about the application process. Wednesday’s meeting will feature information on the preparation necessary for the oral board examination.
City officials are hiring one entry-level officer; applications close March 5.
