The North Idaho State Fair has announced that multi-platinum country music sensation Josh Turner will headline the Party in the Dirt Concert Series with a performance Aug. 19 at the Findlay Arena.

With a career spanning over two decades, Turner is known for songs like, "Your Man," "Long Black Train" and "Why Don’t We Just Dance." His music has garnered over 5.8 billion global streams, five No. 1 singles and numerous awards, making him a fan favorite across generations.

Concert attendees can expect to be serenaded with classic hits and new tracks, including highlights from Turner's latest project, "This Country Music Thing."

“We’re proud to bring such a legendary artist to our community," North Idaho State Fair General Manager Alexcia Jordan said in a Monday news release. "Josh Turner’s dedication to preserving the essence of country music while delivering dynamic, crowd-pleasing performances aligns perfectly with our goal to create memorable experiences at the fair. This is a show that fans of all ages won’t want to miss.”

The Party in the Dirt Concert Series has grown into a signature feature of the fair. The continued success of the concert series is a testament to the support of loyal attendees, local sponsors and the vibrant North Idaho community, the news release states.

Tickets go on sale for the general public today at 9 a.m.

Concertgoers, note: When concert tickets are bought before Aug. 15, they will include admission to the fair. Hold onto tickets because they will scan one time at each location: the fair entrance and the arena entrance. Those who wait until the day of the show to get tickets, if supplies permit, will have to purchase separate fair admission.

This year's fair will be Aug. 15-24 with the theme “Keeping Traditions Alive in 2025.”
