BASIN HOOPS ROUNDUP: District playoffs begin
Royal girls basketball traveled to Cashmere for the first round of the 1A District 5 tournament on Thursday.

Almira/Coulee-Hartline boys basketball takes on Wellpinit in the championship game of the Northeast 1B league tournament on Saturday.
Wahluke travels to Wapato Friday for the first round of the 1A District 5 tournament consolation bracket, while Royal hosts Cashmere on Friday in the tournament semifinals.
