MLSD Financial Oversight Committee meets for first time
Moses Lake School District officials conducted the first meeting of its new Financial Oversight Committee Jan. 29. The group is volunteer-based and made up of local professionals specializing in accounting, finance and other disciplines to establish another level of accountability with the district’s finances. The first meeting set goals and went over the basics of school district finance for the group; however, the committee will eventually have updates for the MLSD board in regard to the district’s finances.

MOSES LAKE — The Moses Lake School District hosted its first Financial Oversight Committee meeting Jan. 29. The committee is a volunteer-based group of local professionals from industries including accounting, finance and similar fields. The group was established to hold the district to another level of accountability with its finances.
