BASIN SENIOR EVENTS for Feb. 2025
COLUMBIA BASIN — There are plenty of opportunities to stay active in the Basin this month. Here are a few possibilities:
Feb. 6
Singo
Singo is a new and exciting musical spin on the traditional game of Bingo. Instead of listening for a number, players are listening to their favorite music. Each player receives a free Singo card printed with the titles of popular songs. While Singo randomly plays song clips, players can sing along and mark matching song titles on their cards. The first player to mark five songs in a row and to shout "Singo" wins the round. Admission is free and prizes will be awarded. 6 p.m. at the Moses Lake Taproom, 530 W. Valley Road. Collections Circle
Help the Quincy Valley Historical Society bring order out of the chaos of the many items the museum is cataloging for its climate-controlled archive. Clue: On Stage
Based on the iconic 1985 Paramount movie which was inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, Clue is a hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery. The tale begins at a remote mansion, where six mysterious guests assemble for an unusual dinner party where murder and blackmail are on the menu. When their host turns up dead, they all become suspects. Led by Wadsworth the butler, Miss Scarlet, Professor Plum, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock and Colonel Mustard race to find the killer as the body count stacks up. Clue is the comedy whodunit that will leave both cult fans and newcomers in stitches as they try to figure out who did it, where and with what. 7:30 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m. at the Masquers Theater, 322 Main Ave. E, Soap Lake. Cupid’s Market
Fall in love with local goodness at Cupid’s Market. Shop fresh local produce and handmade gifts and meet local farmers and artisans who bring love to every product. Books & Brushes Craft Time

Get to Know Rotary
A public event with an opportunity to learn what the Rotary Club of Moses Lake is all about. Create & Cackle
Do you like to make stuff? Do you have a project unfinished? Want to just hang out and finish a project? Just drop in, have a drink and a snack and create. Knitting, drawing, sewing, crocheting, perler beading, coloring, painting, origami or basket-weaving – the only limit is what you bring. H.E. Gritman Senior Center Valentine Breakfast
Bring someone special and enjoy a homemade breakfast of pancakes and sausage or biscuits and gravy and sausage. Cost is $7 and all ages are welcome. There will be Valentine’s treats and a door prize. Sand Scorpions 35th Anniversary Party

Open Studio
Bring your current or planned project and make a mess in the museum instead of at home. Join other artists to socialize and get inspiration. Need a prompt to get started? A museum instructor will be on hand and can help with that. Easels, brushes, rulers, and any other re-useable supplies will be provided, as well as a small amount of craft paints, drawing pencils and other supplies for use. Sketching, watercolor, charcoal, pastels, acrylic, oil, whatever your medium is. All levels of experience are welcome. Ages 16 and up. Enchanted Evening
Treat your family to a magical night filled with fun and laughter. Enjoy dancing, crafts, photo booth, games and dessert, plus special guest appearances by your favorite fairy tale princes, princesses, and superheroes. The first hour is sensory-friendly with reduced noise, softer lighting and a smaller crowd. Tickets are $40 for one adult and one child or $60 for a family of four, plus $10 for each additional person. Recommended for ages 12 and under. All proceeds benefit the Moses Lake Choral Boosters.
