Paul Kersey
Paul Kersey, 87, passed away peacefully at his home Dec. 15, 2025, after a tough fight with cancer.
Paul was born July 22, 1938, to Floyd and Anna Kersey, one of eight children. He was a cherished son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and soon-to-be great-grandfather.
Paul is survived by his wife of 65 years, Cathy; his children, Don (Betsy), Ron, Mike and Michele (Dave-deceased); and his grandchildren, Hannah, Sarah, Hayden, Wil, Brooks and Jack.
For 42 years, Paul owned and operated Paul’s Equipment, a local tractor store. He was deeply committed to his community, serving as a volunteer for the Mae Valley Fire Department for over 50 years and as a member of the Moses Lake Round-up for five decades. He also served in the National Guard from 1960 to 1966.
A true outdoorsman, Paul loved being a horseman, farmer, fisherman and hunter. He especially cherished time spent at the family cabin in Creston. His family wishes to extend their deep appreciation to his friends, doctors, nurses and hospice workers for their care and support.
In lieu of a formal service, the family invites you to "toast" Paul’s memory with your favorite beverage.
