50-acre fire quickly contained near Ephrata
Grant County Fire District 5 firefighters respond to a past brush fire. They and other departments responded to a fire Saturday morning near Ephrata that was estimated at about 50 acres.

EPHRATA - A fire broke out Saturday morning between Moses Lake and Ephrata but was quickly knocked down, according to Grant County Fire District 5 Battalion Commander Travis Svilar.
