Donald Garrison
Don Garrison was a loving family man who served his community as a firefighter and fire chief with the Moses Lake Fire Department for about 30 years.
Donald Garrison, a devoted family man, respected fire chief, and beloved member of the Moses Lake community, passed away at the age of 90 on July 19, 2025,
Don was born in Iowa. At the age of 7 he moved to Washington with his family.
At age twenty, Don married his wife, Colleen, whom he met in Ephrata, together they raised a family with three children.
At the age of 25, Don began working at the Moses Lake Fire Department. He rose through the ranks, eventually serving as chief of the Moses Lake Fire Department. It was at the age of 55 that Don decided to retire. He spent his later years enjoying time with his family.
Don is survived by his three children, Rodney, Bob and Dawn Marie, as well as his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Don was preceded in death by his loving wife, Colleen.
A Celebration of life will be Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025, at 2 p.m. at 1517 W. Broadway at the Moses Lake Eagles lodge.
