Cody Jon Cole

Cody Jon Cole, 30, of Spokane, Wash., passed away Aug. 5, 2025. Born on Oct. 30, 1994, in Moses Lake, Wash., Cody grew up surrounded by family and friends who loved him dearly. 

He is survived by his children, Aria Lynn Cole and Zayden Alexander Risbeck-Cole; his siblings, Shannon (Roman) Rodriguez, Kristy (Bailey) Rediger, Sarah Larsen, Christopher Cole and Charles Cole; and his father, Jeff Cole.  

He was preceded in death by his mother, Debbie Cole, and sister, Katy Larsen. 

Cody was born and raised in Moses Lake, Wash., graduating with the Class of 2013 from Moses Lake High School. As a youth, he played baseball and football, making many memories and friendships along the way.  

Over the years, Cody worked in a variety of jobs, but he especially enjoyed his most recent position at DAA Northwest in Spokane, where he tested and diagnosed vehicles. He took pride in his work and appreciated the people he worked alongside. 

Music was one of Cody’s greatest passions. He loved creating beats and rapping, sharing his talent and creativity with those around him. Known for his quick wit and humor, Cody had a gift for making people laugh and brightening the mood wherever he went. 

A memorial service will be held Aug. 23, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Desert Church at 716 Basin St. NW, Ephrata, Wash., to celebrate Cody’s life and the joy he brought to those who knew him.  

Cody will be remembered for his humor, his love for music, his devotion to his family, and the countless moments of laughter he gave to others. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
