MOSES LAKE — The Department of Health has suspended or restricted two licenses of healthcare providers in Grant and Adams counties.

According to a July 18 statement from DOH, certified nursing assistant Lisa Ann Adams was charged with unprofessional conduct after she was placed on the Department of Social and Health Services long-term care abuse and neglect registry. She had financially exploited a vulnerable adult, according to DOH. Adams is now barred from working in roles that involve caring for or having unsupervised access to vulnerable adults. She had been working in Adams County.

According to a July 22 statement from DOH, Amanda Jean Pelot, of Grant County, had her certified nursing assistant license indefinitely suspended as of July 2025. In 2024, according to the statement, Pelot was convicted of felony theft and possession of stolen property.

Following the conviction, Pelot did not respond to the DOH statement of charges, according to DOH. Reinstatement requires participation in a substance use monitoring program and department approval.
