Moses Lake Roundup events this week
Antelope, Oregon native Cord Gomes takes down a steer at last year’s Moses Lake Roundup. The roundup returns this year with the Miner Services Demolition Derby and the rodeo taking place from Tuesday through Saturday.

MOSES LAKE – This week, the Moses Lake Roundup returns with a lineup of events all week long. From Demo Derbies to the Rodeo, there will be plenty for the family to do this week.
The gates open at 3 p.m. today and Wednesday. Tuesday’s events start with dirt bike racing and are followed by the demo derby. On Wednesday, lawnmower racing kicks off in the afternoon, followed by the second night of the demo derby.
From Thursday to Saturday, the gates to the Rodeo open at 5 p.m. According to Office Manager Anna Lucero, the first 200 people through the blue gate will receive a free T-shirt. On Thursday, Rocker Steiner, a professional bareback rider with the Hell on Wheels tour bus, will be appearing.
The theme Thursday is Wipe Out Cancer. Friday’s theme is Military Night and Saturday is titled Man Up Night. All three days of the Rodeo will have Mutton Busting for the pre-show festivities, which start at 6:30 p.m.
