Grant Co. Fair has local vendors showcasing unique flavors
Lioness Prelita Owen said the Space Burgers stand at the fair has been non-stop busy since they opened at 9 a.m. Tuesday. This is her second year volunteering at the fair and she said she loves working with her Lioness sisters to make good food.

Tacos El Rey staff smile for a photo Tuesday. The stand is selling tacos, burritos, nachos and quesadillas. Manager Jose Baez said the tacos are his favorite because the handmade tortillas make the meal.
A volunteer at the Youth Dynamics booth takes potatoes with holes in the center and puts sausages and sauce inside of the potatoes and wraps them in tin foil. She said her job is to ensure there are enough tater dogs prepared as people order them.

MOSES LAKE – The Grant County Fair kicked off its opening day yesterday at the Grant County Fairgrounds, enveloping the area in a colorful tapestry of local vendors, enticing aromas and the sound of lively chatter. From tacos to tater dogs, this year’s fair brings an eclectic mix of culinary delights that highlight the community's entrepreneurial spirit.
