REQUEST FOR BIDS CITY OF QUINCY, WASHINGTON 2nd AVENUE SE ROADWAY RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT The City of Quincy, Washington requests Bids to provide the labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees to complete the 2nd AVENUE SE ROADWAY RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT: This project reconstructs 2nd Ave SE from J Street SE to N Street SE, and Marginal Way from N Street SE to 4th Ave SE. The project includes the rehabilitation of the roadways to current City design standards, new asphalt pavement section, stormwater conveyance and water quality improvements, streetscaping, ADA compliant sidewalks and curb ramps, roadway frontage restoration, and reclaimed water system piping. Bids must be completed according to Instructions to Bidders, sent by mail or hand delivered, and received by the City Engineer’s office on or before 10:00 a.m. (Pacific time) on May 13, 2025, at the City’s Public Services Building, PO Box 338, 115 1st Avenue S.W., Quincy, WA 98848. The process of Bidding for the Work and details of the Project are in the Contract Documents. The Contract Documents may be examined at the City’s Public Services Building or the plan centers listed below. An electronic copy of the Contract Documents and Addenda will be provided to Plan Holders at no cost. Registration as a Plan Holder is made to the City Engineer by providing the prospective Bidder’s name, contact, physical address, phone and email address. Questions about the Contract Documents, the Project and the process for Bidding must be directed to the City Engineer.
