Bryan H. Huff
Bryan H. Huff, formerly of Moses Lake, Wash., went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
It is with deeply broken hearts that we say goodbye for now. We know we will see you again in eternity. Bryan was born in Rupert, Idaho, in 1962 to Bill and Karen Huff. The family moved to Moses Lake in 1968, where he lived until 1983 when he moved to Puyallup, Wash.
When Bryan moved to Puyallup, he went to work for KLQ Enterprises/Quality Rentals where he worked for 30+ years, working his way up to vice president of the company overseeing 18 stores throughout the state of Washington. When the company sold, that gave Bryan and Trish the opportunity to move out of state to Arizona.
Bryan's love for sports led him to play baseball throughout school and at Big Bend Community College. He enjoyed snow skiing, golfing, jet skiing, racquetball, hunting and fishing. Bryan had a thrill-seeker attitude when it came to roller coasters; there wasn't one he ever passed by without giving it a try at least twice. He coached his nieces in fast pitch alongside his brother-in-law. They traveled to Chattanooga, Tenn.; Columbus, Ohio; Las Vegas and many other states. Bryan also enjoyed playing slow-pitch himself.
Bryan always tried to find the positive in whatever challenge he faced or one you faced. He would always tell you to look for the "Silver Lining.” If you had the flu, the silver lining would be automatic weight loss. He had a sense of humor as well. That sense of humor (sometimes inappropriate) is what got us through his battle with cancer in 2013.
Bryan is survived by the true love of his life Patricia (Trish) Boyle. They had known each other since they were 14 years old. Bryan and Trish reconnected in 2001 and married in 2003. Bryan and Trish were kindred hearts; they had a love for life and were not afraid to show it.
Bryan was a lover of his dogs and there have been many. We have no doubt that when they saw him in heaven it was a reunion of pure joy, even the abandoned cat Lovie who adopted him and Trish a few years back.
Bryan was the youngest of four siblings and passed away at his home in Arizona.
In addition to Trish, Bryan is survived by his son, Tyler Shuman, of Los Angeles, Calif., whom he was very proud of, and honored to call his son. Bryan's three siblings, Jeff Huff of Moses Lake, Dan (Kim) Huff of Idaho Falls, Idaho and Angie (Kevin) Quinn of Buckeye, Ariz., and Moses Lake, Wash. Bryan is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as great-nephews and a great-niece.
Celebration of life TBD.
