CALL FOR BIDS CITY OF WARDEN 1st STREET NORTH RECONSTRUCTION Sealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned at the City of Warden, 121 South Main Street, Warden, Washington, 98857, up to 10:00 a.m.; local time on Thursday, May 8, 2025, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct 1st Street North Reconstruction. This Contract provides for the reconstruction of approximately 2,600 LF of 1st Street North from North County Road to BNSF ROW. The work includes, but is not limited to, excavation, grading, subgrade preparation, crushed surfacing materials, hot mix asphalt, pavement markings, utility adjustments, traffic control, miscellaneous surface restoration, and other work all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Special Provisions and the Standard Specifications. The Work shall be physically complete within 70 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Washington. Request for Qualifications – Engineering and Surveying Services Port of Warden Grant County Port District No. 8 (the “Port of Warden”) is requesting interested firms to submit qualifications for engineering and surveying services to short plat or otherwise segregate Grant County Assessor’s Parcel Nos. 061713360, 061713361, 061713362 and 061713340 in accordance with Port of Warden Resolution No. 2025-02. QUALIFICATIONS Please submit one (1) printed copy of qualifications by May 24, 2025. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT AN OPEN RECORD PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD May 13, 2025 at 4:45 p.m. in the Grant County Commissioners Hearing Room, Courthouse, Ephrata, WA to take comments on the recently adopted Moratorium on Major, Minor and UnNamed Utility Developments in Grant County. On April 1, 2025, the Board of County Commissioners approved and adopted Ordinance No. 25-032-CC enacting a moratorium as follows: • The Board of County Commissioners hereby impose a moratorium on the acceptance, processing, review or issuance of any permit applications that allows for the use, construction or operation of a “utility development, major”, “utility development, minor”, and “un-named utility uses” as provided for under the Grant County Unified Development Code, pursuant to RCW 36.70A.390. • This moratorium shall not apply to the acceptance, processing, and issuance of any permit applications for ‘’utility development, major”, “utility development minor” or ‘’un-named utility uses” that had an issued and valid land use permit in place prior to the effective date of this moratorium. • This moratorium shall not apply to the acceptance, processing, and issuance of any permit applications for electrical substations and electrical transmission lines. • This moratorium shall not apply to residential accessory wind generation uses constructed on or adjacent to an existing private single-family residence for purposes of augmenting that specific single-family residence’s energy resources. • A public hearing will be conducted within sixty (60) days of the effective date of this ordinance. • Should any part of this moratorium be found to be unlawful or unconstitutional and set aside, the remaining portions of the moratorium will remain in full effect. • This moratorium is necessary to protect the public health, safety and general welfare. • This ordinance shall be effective immediately.
