Raymond "Ray" Baratcart

Raymond “Ray” P. Baratcart, 76, a longtime resident of Moses Lake, Wash., passed away April 17, 2025, in Wenatchee, Wash. He was born Jan. 7, 1949, in Ontario, Ore.  

He moved to Moses Lake as a young man and graduated from Moses Lake High School. He worked at the Arctic Circle for many years and became manager. During this time, he met the love of his life, LaRee Anderson. They just celebrated 50 years together! He went on to work at Takata for 10 years as a buyer. 

Ray loved riding horses and the many golf trips he took with family. Ray was always willing to lend a hand whenever anybody needed it. He will certainly be missed. 

He is survived by his wife, LaRee, and his brother, Claudio Jean. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jean and Louisa Baratcart, his sisters, Celestine Zabala and Julie Bilboa, and his brothers, Lloyd and Floyd Baratcart. 

At Ray’s request, there will be no services.
