MOSES LAKE — The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation will hold its annual banquet and auction Saturday in Moses Lake.

Doors open at 4:30 p.m. at the Grant County Fairgrounds 4-H Building, according to Justin Hyland, RMEF regional director for eastern Washington. There will be a live auction and a silent auction, as well as dinner catered by Longhorn Barbecue., Hyland said.

“We have a live auction, a silent auction, a general raffle and tons of other additional raffles,” Hyland said.  “We even have an early bird raffle for those that get there early.”

All raffle tickets are sold at the door, he added.

Online registration at the RMEF website was turned off Thursday, Hyland said, but he can still add attendees who contact him directly at 541-913-6176. People who are passionate about the outdoors and elk hunting are invited to volunteer, he said. Information is available at RMEF.org.

“Money that we raise all goes back to support our mission,” Hyland said. “Our mission funds habitat enhancement projects and local hunting heritage projects throughout Washington and also helps with research projects.”
