The proposed project, Quincy Aquatic Center, is located at 724 F St SE in Quincy in Grant county. This project involves 6.6 acres of soil disturbance for Other (City Aquatic Park) construction activities. Some discharges and runoff goes to ground water. The receiving waterbody is Irrigation Maintenance Ditch. Notice of Application - Date of Notice: April 9, 2025 - Notice is hereby given that a Discretionary Use Review Application and SEPA Checklist were received by Grant County on March 21, 2025, from Rimrock Cove Owners Association (Contact: Western Pacific Engineering & Survey, Inc., Attn: Daniel Leavitt 1224 S. City of Mattawa Optional MDNS Process and Notice of Public Hearing Hearing Examiner   Notice is hereby given that the City of Mattawa received a Conditional Use Permit application for a gas station/travel plaza on Parcel #021868000 and will hold a public hearing to consider the application known as the Balaggan SR 243 Travel Plaza CUP. The fueling stations includes one pump canopy for passenger vehicles and one pump canopy for semi-trucks. Fuel pumps will be served by one or more underground storage tanks holding up to 60,000 gallons of fuel. This proposal is in the C-2 Zoning District. In accordance with MMC 17.40.020 a Gas/Service station in the C-2 zone requires a CUP. This proposal is located on Parcel 021868000 located at the SW corner of RD 2 SW and SR 243. The optional MDNS process is being used and this may be your only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal. The City of Mattawa has reviewed the proposed project for probable adverse environmental impacts and expects to issue a Mitigated Determination of Nonsignificance (DNS). Shrubsteppe habitat is known to be on site and will require mitigation measures consistent with Grant County’s Critical Areas Ordinance.
