MLPD investigating drive-by shooting on North Buell Drive

MOSES LAKE — Moses Lake Police Department responded to a drive-by shooting incident Sept. 8 at around 3:11 a.m. at the intersection of North Buell Drive and West Gary Street, according to an MLPD press release. 

Upon arrival, officers found multiple spent casings and confirmed that both a residence and vehicle had been hit by gunfire; no injuries were reported. 

A black or gray car was seen fleeing the scene after the incident. There have been no updates, according to MLPD Captain Jeff Sursely.  

MLPD is asking residents of the neighborhood to review their surveillance footage for any signs of a dark-colored sedan passing through around the listed time, according to the MLPD press release. If residents see the vehicle, they are asked to call MLPD at 509-764-3887 and ask to speak to Detective Guerrero with reference case number 24ML13409.
