Vehicle theft suspect turns self in
WARDEN — The Adams County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of Rafael Preneda after he turned himself in following being identified as a suspect in a vehicle theft case.
Deputies had served a search warrant Wednesday at property in the 9500 block of Road U Southeast south of Warden.
“The individuals at this location have been identified as suspects involved in the theft of a semi-tractor and trailer and theft of diesel fuel from Adams County,” according to an ACSO release. “In addition, deputies discovered a brand-new (trailer) which was stolen from a dealership near King City in Franklin County.”
ACSO then announced that Pruneda was a suspect in the case and asked for the public’s help in tracking him down.
After being booked into the Franklin County Jail on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, a Class B felony, as well as theft in the third degree. Pruneda may face other charges.

We also want to thank the members of our community who provided critical information to us. It takes a full community working together to keep us all safe,” Adams County Sheriff Dale Wagner said in a statement.
