For a good cause
QUINCY – The Columbia Basin Herald’s Velma Dunkin was at the Quincy B Street Block Party over the weekend. At the newspaper’s booth, Dunkin sold raffle tickets for a toy tractor with the help of these young area residents and raised almost $120 benefiting Serve Quincy Valley, a local nonprofit that helps locals in a variety of ways including assisting with rent, food insecurity and other issues. To find out more, visit www.quincyvalley.org or call them at 509-797-7356. Dunkin’s granddaughter, Audrey Dunkin, and her friends helped promote the raffle.
