Driver crashes into Moses Lake business
The damage to a Moses Lake Shell service station was caused by a driver allegedly driving under the influence.

MOSES LAKE — A Moses Lake business suffered broken windows and other damage when a driver hit it with his car Wednesday night.
Jeffrey Johnson, 59, Moses Lake was charged with driving under the influence after he struck the Shell Gas Station at 1606 West Broadway at around 9:30 p.m. The suspect vehicle had minor damage, and the building had a pushed in wall and broken windows.
“It’s broken three windows and damaged the structure,” Ashwani Sharma, manager at the gas station said.
The following morning, the gas station employees were moving the fridges holding drinks away from the wall to access damages. By the afternoon, there were boards placed on the outside of the gas station. Sharma said there is around $10,000 in damage from the crash.
