MOSES LAKE — At around 1:40 p.m. Friday on Pioneer Way in Moses Lake Joseph Zamora was arrested for outstanding felony arrest warrants, according to a press release from Grant County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies had learned that Zamora, 42, had been seen in Moses Lake and had outstanding felony arrest warrants for two counts of first-degree assault — domestic violence, two counts of vehicular assault and one count of fourth-degree assault — domestic violence.

According to the GCSO press release, deputies used the Washington Department of Licensing’s Driver and Plate Search to find a vehicle registered to Zomora’s partner. Deputies then entered that vehicle information into the system and discovered a recent image of the vehicle and someone who appeared to be Zamora in the photo. Deputies then programmed an alert for the automatic license plate reader system. When the alert sounded Friday, deputies arrested Zamora and booked him into the Grant County Jail.
