Christina Rider

Christina Lynn Rider (Hughes), 51, was born July 26, 1973. She was born in Yakima, Washington, to Nola and Archie Hughes.  

Christina entered eternal life on September 5, 2024, after a tragic vehicle-related accident in Moses Lake, Washington.  

She enjoyed being on the water, creating art, rescuing puppies and she absolutely loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Christina is joining her parents Nola Gorrell and Archie Hughes, her stepfather Ed Gorrell, her grandmother Alberta DeBord, her nephew Kegan Stillwaugh, and her sister-in-law Katy Hart Coleman in Heaven.

She is survived by her two daughters, Aliesha Rickman and Savannah Rider of Moses Lake, Washington, her son Sebastian Rider of Spokane, Washington, her brother and sister Michael Hughes and Tammy Frederick of Coulee City, Washington, four grandchildren, four nieces, a nephew and many cousins, family and friends.  

Christina was one of a kind and will be remembered for her big heart and free spirit.  

A service will be held at the Church of Christ in Ephrata, Washington, on Saturday, September 28 at 1 p.m.
