Scam callers asking for donations for MLFD

MOSES LAKE — The Moses Lake Fire Department issued a statement about donation phone calls residents have been receiving.  

They clarified that these calls are scams, as the MLFD never solicits donations via phone or social media.  

Instead, they only request donations in person. The statement advises residents not to donate money to anyone claiming to represent the Moses Lake Fire Department or Moses Lake Firefighters over the phone.
