Tiger spirit to wave in the wind

Ephrata School District flags line Basin Street for the first day of school. Ephrata School District Public Information Officer Sarah Morford said the flags will be placed for a variety of events such as sendoffs for athletic and academic competitions.
EPHRATA — One hundred bright orange or black flags adorned with the letter “E” will start waving in the wind decorating Basin Street on various occasions.
